Pen vs. Laptop as told by Joseph J. Ellis

Just found this nice little piece as a part of the Washington Post's The Writing Life. Today is Joseph Ellis, one of our best chroniclers of the Founding Era. He tells us why he continues to study our Founding Fathers and why he always writes his first drafts with a pen.

Here it is. And be sure to pay special attention to the metaphor he uses to describe our nation's founding. I love it.
