Finally! I had the best day of the entire month today: 3,539 words comprising four chapters. Up until today, the best day was Day 1 with 3,464. Sure, I didn’t pass the threshold by much, but I passed it.
And I passed 30,000 words today. By my spreadsheet, I’m approximately 8,000 words ahead of schedule. What that means is that I could not write for over 4 days and I’d still be on track to finish 50,000 by the end of the month.
But I won’t be doing that. Late tonight, a new wrinkle I didn’t foresee cropped up. I’ll have to do a little deliberation tomorrow to determine how best to proceed. But proceed I will.
