Fantastic News! "Castle" renewed for third season!

Ausiello breaks the news over at EW.com. With "Lost" and "24" (which faded a bit this season but has come back strong) ending, "Castle" will be my undisputed favorite show on TV next year.

"Castle" has really picked up the momentum this season with good writing and an ever-increasing gelling of the main cast. The two-parter than just finished was among the best stories they've ever done.

I was happy to hear the news as well. And you're right. The two parter was the best shows they've done. Seemingly hitting their stride, one thinks we might not have seen the last of Dunn.

Thrilled that "Castle" has been renewed; not quite so thrilled what their increased ratings mean.............. Sure wish they were on another night, like TUESDAY.

I heard Dana Delaney is leaving Desperate Housewives for a crime procedural drama type show. I could be wrong but I thought that the 2 parter was kind of a back-end pilot for her show-- at least to introduce that character for her new show.

It will be interesting to see how that pans out. Other than her first season on Desperate Housewives she's been largely under or completely un-utilized.
