stewbie2 - After last week's debacle, I considered trying to make a haiku out of the loss. It was fun. Think I'll do it for the entire season. And you should begin your haiku, too. (rhyming intentional)
Charles - Judging by the first two weeks, you could use just one word:
Chris - I think the entire city of Houston was surprised. I went to see "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs" just as halftime started. Half wanted to stay and watch the game. Fun movie but I couldn't wait to get back in the car and find out the final score. Thrilled!
There's a similar vibe when the Cleveland Browns play the Baltimore Ravens although there's a bit more animosity directed at the Ravens.
Browns fans generally cheer against the Ravens except when the Ravens are playing the Steelers. I think the Steelers are the only team most Browns fans hate more than the Ravens.
I tried to come up with a Browns haiku about Field Goals alone can't win games (they lost to Denver 27-6).
Congrats to your Texans, btw! And since I've started also following the Bears-- I wish your Texans QB the best of luck and hope he doesn't get injured. I wouldn't wish your back-up QB, Rex Grossman to be a starter on ANY team (except for maybe Pittsburgh).
Love it!! I used to do "Friday Haiku" on my blog...i must begin anew...
ReplyDeleteHum, I tried to come up with one for the Saints but nothing clicked.
ReplyDeleteNice haiku. Have to say I was surprised at this win, but way to go Texans!
