Guess it's the Love Week.<BR/><BR/>Actually, I found it quite fun and somewhat liberating to finish something that another author started. There was a website back in 2004 that provided three random words. You had to put all three in the first paragraph and start the entire story with one of the words. I liked the challenge.<BR/><BR/>To answer my own question, I never got any crime feel from that first paragraph. I got a survival story. Dunno. My first take on it wasn't a happy ending. I wasn't satisfied and read it aloud to my wife. She didn't like it either so I made the happy ending.Scott D.
